Ironman 70.3 Augusta 2027

Gara sold-out ogni anno.

What the course asks

Preparation tips

What to do from today to race day

Raffreddamento in corsa

Arriva presto in zona cambio

Nuoto point-to-point

Wheels for this course

A rule of thumb from this course: 6.7 m of climbing per km and low wind exposure. It is guidance, not a count. (rolling)

Front wheel
50-65 mm deep

Rear wheel
Disc, or a deep wheel (60-80 mm) if you prefer

Tyres
28-30 mm, tubeless if possible. Choose pressure by weight and road surface, not by habit.

Check the weather and the wind forecast on race week: on windy days, drop a depth step on the front wheel.
