Ironman 70.3 Cozumel 2027

Bike90 km · 62 m D+

  • Asfalto liscio a sud e a est, più rovinato in città vicino all'arrivo.

Run21.1 km

  • 21,1 km (13,3 mi) su 2 giri, piatti e asfaltati, 68 ft (~21 m) di dislivello.
  • Percorso completamente esposto, ombra solo occasionale; cemento bianco molto riverberante.

What the course asks

Frequently asked questionsanswers with sources

Si può usare la muta? No. L'acqua è mediamente a 29 °C (84 °F) e la muta è vietata. Allenati senza. Quanto fa caldo in corsa?

Preparation tips

What to do from today to race day

Occhio all'asfalto in città

Trasporto bici dall'aeroporto

Wheels for this course

A rule of thumb from this course: 0.7 m of climbing per km and moderate wind exposure. It is guidance, not a count. (flat)

Front wheel
50-65 mm deep

Rear wheel
Disc, or a deep wheel (60-80 mm) if you prefer

Tyres
28-30 mm, tubeless if possible. Choose pressure by weight and road surface, not by habit.

Check the weather and the wind forecast on race week: on windy days, drop a depth step on the front wheel.
