Ironman Brazil 2027

The organiser publishes the final course in spring: this page updates.

Swim3.8 km

What the course asks

Frequently asked questionsanswers with sources

Preparati a tratti in solitudine.

Preparation tips

What to do from today to race day

Pedalare sull'autostrada fuori gara è considerato poco sicuro: fai l'attivazione su strade secondarie o sui rulli.

Come arrivare

Trasporto bici

La bike box entra in un'auto normale; in alternativa noleggia un'auto in loco.

Settimana gara

Ritiro pacco gara rapido; consegna bici il sabato a Jurerê. Organizzazione descritta come essenziale, con swag minimale.

Wheels for this course

A rule of thumb from this course: 19.5 m of climbing per km and moderate wind exposure. It is guidance, not a count. (hilly)

Front wheel
35-55 mm deep

Rear wheel
50-60 mm. Use a disc only if the descents are not technical and the weather is stable

Tyres
28-30 mm, tubeless if possible. Choose pressure by weight and road surface, not by habit.

Check the weather and the wind forecast on race week: on windy days, drop a depth step on the front wheel.
