Swim3.8 km

Serve mano ferma e freni a posto.

Run42.2 km

  • Due giri out-and-back, 26,2 miglia, 317 m D+ ufficiali.

What the course asks

Preparation tips

What to do from today to race day

Corri in progressione sull''out'

Transizione

T1/T2 nell'area dell'Oval: lunga corsa dal lago, sacche appese su rastrelliere esterne, bici su prato ombreggiato, tenda cambio in mezzo. Oltre mezzo miglio da coprire.

Sacche personal needs

Wheels for this course

A rule of thumb from this course: 12.6 m of climbing per km and low wind exposure. It is guidance, not a count. (hilly)

Front wheel
40-60 mm deep

Rear wheel
50-60 mm. Use a disc only if the descents are not technical and the weather is stable

Tyres
28-30 mm, tubeless if possible. Choose pressure by weight and road surface, not by habit.

Check the weather and the wind forecast on race week: on windy days, drop a depth step on the front wheel.
